Associate Professor Mark K. Warford

Mark K. Warford is currently an Associate Professor at the Buffalo State College, State University of New York. He conducts research on teacher development, educational innovation, as well as on discourse analysis in the language classroom and sociocultural theory.

Mark is a published researcher in the areas of teacher development, educational innovation, and applied linguistics who has presented on these topics to a range of regional, national, and international conferences. Warford has served on the editorial board for Foreign Language Annals and leads program reviews for the ACTFL/NCATE Program Standards for the Preparation of Foreign Language Teachers. He also regularly presents workshops to LOTE teachers on the topics of teaching in the target language and language learning motivation
